The General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration in the Kingdom of Morocco has recently announced exciting job vacancies for Male Guardian Educators.   • Number of Positions: 250

  • Required Qualification: Baccalaureate or Vocational Qualification Diploma

Regions: Tangier – Tetouan – Al Hoceima and Fez – Meknes and the East

  • Written Test Date: February 25, 2024

  • Number of Positions: 241

  • Required Qualification: Baccalaureate or Vocational Qualification Diploma

Participation Requirements

To be eligible for these positions, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Moroccan nationality.

  2. Enjoying national rights and integrity.

  3. Age between 21 and 30 years in January 2024, extendable to 35 years based on civil or military service.

  4. Baccalaureate or Vocational Qualification Diploma.

  5. No illness or disability hindering physical capability for day or night service.

  6. Hearing capability for whispers at a distance of 50 cm and loud sounds from 5 meters.

  7. Height not less than 1.75 meters.

  8. Vision acuity of 17/10 or better without correction.

Application Process

Interested candidates are required to register on the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration website, www.dgapr.gov.ma. During the registration process, candidates should select a single test center. The deadline for electronic registration is January 19, 2024, at 4:30 PM.

The application file should include the following documents:

  • A completed registration form.

  • A copy of the biometric national identity card.

  • A copy of the Baccalaureate certificate or equivalent, or a Vocational Qualification Diploma.

  • A medical certificate with specified measurements and the doctor’s signature.

  • Documentation proving the candidate’s status as a resistor, military veteran, or national sponsor.

  • Authorization for employees to take the exam from the operating administration.

  • A copy of the military service completion certificate (if applicable).

  • Certificates demonstrating practical skills or work experience in relevant fields.

Please note that incomplete or non-electronically registered applications will be rejected. It is important for each candidate to choose a single test center, as multiple choices will result in the cancellation of the application.

Examination Process

The examination process for these positions consists of three main components: the written test, physical fitness test, and oral or practical test.

A- Written Test

The written test carries a weighting factor of 2 and has a duration of 2 hours. It includes general questions or multiple-choice questions related to social, economic, administrative, and prison-related issues. Additionally, tasks or functions associated with the competition or relevant specialties may be covered.

B- Physical Fitness Test

The physical fitness test also carries a weighting factor of 2. It assesses the candidate’s physical ability to perform tasks through various physical exercises.

Candidates who score at least 10 out of 20 in the written test are eligible to participate in the physical fitness test. Electrocardiogram (E.C.G) analysis accompanied by a specialist’s report on heart and artery diseases, as well as Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) analysis, should be uploaded in PDF format to the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration website.

C- Oral or Practical Test

The oral or practical test weighs 4 and has a duration of up to 60 minutes. It includes questions covering various general topics or psychotechnical elements to evaluate the candidate’s ability to perform tasks or functions associated with the relevant position or specialization.

To qualify for the oral or practical test, candidates must have a minimum average of 10 out of 20 in the written test and the physical fitness test, without receiving a disqualifying score (less than 5 out of 20 in either test). Candidates invited to this test must complete the application file with the required documents, including certified copies of their biometric national identity card and Baccalaureate or Vocational Qualification Diploma.

Important Dates and Announcements

An initial list of accepted candidates for the competition will be announced on the General Delegation’s website starting from January 24, 2024. In case candidates are not listed, they can seek clarification through the mentioned pre-registration page until January 26, 2024, at 12:00 PM.

The final list of candidates invited to the competition will be announced on February 2, 2024. The publication of the final list serves as a summons to participate, and candidates can retrieve their summons from the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration website starting from February 5, 2024.
